Twenty Year Medal Table for Trampolining

Summer Olympic Games 1996 – 2012

Cockburn-MacLennan

Canada has now won medals in women’s trampolining for four Games in a row. Karen Cockburn won the first three and Rosie MacLennan won the fourth, and the only gold.

By medalling with very little support, Cockburn paved the way for others. MacLennan has the benefit of Canada’s Own the Podium funding and others will surely now follow.

But Canada has not been jumping up and down about its performance in other sports. MacLennan was its only gold medallist in London, although results at the Panamerican Games in Toronto last year suggest that the total in Rio will be much greater than one.

Overall, China is the bounciest nation and Dong Dong will try to retain his men’s title.
